Sign, Sealed, Delivered.

We spent this last Saturday addresses all 415 Save the Dates. I'm SO thrilled to be on time with everything! I've got a whole lot of due dates marked in my planner and it feels SO good to be actually meeting them! This wedding planning business is easy! :)

In weeks to come we'll be booking our photographer and florist, deciding on a cake and treats to serve at the reception as well as (big news, ready?) possibly looking into moving the whole party elsewhere...somewhere that will hold more people. It's all still in discussion, but with how many people we invited and hope to come and our number one priority being our guests, we want to make sure there is enough room for everyone comfortably. More news to come as it develops.

Here are so photos from the big address party.

Save the Dates? Check!

I am so blessed with wonderful friends who are AMAZINGLY talented at what they do. Wendy finished the Save the Dates today and my beautiful friend Chelsie took at least half an hour cutting these babies PERFECTLY. Wendy is an amazing graphic designer who is just about to wrap-up schooling at the Art Institute. Here's a link to find her on Facebook to friend her and bug her to get her online portfolio done so you can book her for your invites. I am so excited to get these suckers out. 440 printed. Which means there are 440 to address. Thank goodness my bridesmaid's are sweeter than chocolate and are going to help me this Saturday. They are TOO good to me.

 Printed and ready to cut!

Will You Stand With Us?

When we had our dinner, these babies we're suppose to be done, but I ended up not finishing them. In fact, they're still not done. haha

Me and my creative itch wanted to make something that would be nice for the line to have that had everything written down for them so that they would know what was coming up. I'm rather proud of them. It all goes along my desire to make my own greeting cards. I could expand it to things like this. Look out for new products sometime...in the future. :)

The gentlemen...

 And the ladies...

SO fun!

Fitting Day!

We went over to Sherri's house on the 12th to measure all the girls. It was quick and fun. Here are so pictures! I am loving all the fun get-togethers that come with wedding planning. :)

Treebird Photography

We booked a photographer from the bridal show a few weekends ago! I really like him and in the short time we spent chatting, I'm really excited for him to shoot our wedding. (I mean, he was even using an iPad.) We're getting a KILLER deal on engagements, full day wedding coverage and a trash the dress session. I'm STOKED for the trash the dress session!

You can see his stuff here.

We're planning our engagement shoot when it gets warmer and we can comfortably be outside. Be on the look out in a couple months!

That's a TON of Fabric!

Today I bought 70 yards of fabric.
If you've never seen that much fabric before...it's amazing. I had an audience.

The bridesmaids fitting is on February 12th and I'm so excited! We're going to have a fun luncheon potluck and Sheri will be able to start on the dresses! Can't wait! My friend Jackie found a coupon for 50% off at Joann's, so if you are in need of any fabric or crafts, go here to print it off!

The Bridesmaid's Attire!

I am so excited to have everyone's outfits compiled for the wedding! Ben has already paid for his tux and I've got my dress. The bridesmaid dresses are being HAND-MADE by a wonderful, amazing friend and Utah-substitute mom, Sheri. She made these dresses for her nieces wedding in January

She's volunteered to make the bridesmaid dresses for our wedding and it's been SO fun getting to start from scratch. Here are some images of what we're doing

We're having a theme at our wedding, 1940's, so we found this super cute pattern from Vogue Patterns. The fabric will be a satin plum/lilac color and the length will hit right at the knee, WITH petticoat and all! I'm SO excited. The belt will be black and we ordered these shoes today! They look SO cute on and mine are the same, but champagne color (below). We got the shoes from DSW and got a KILLER discount. If your a DSW rewards member, you can enter the code GOCRAZY for a scaled discount based on how much you spend. You can also enter the code SHIPR for FREE shipping.

We have a red in the mix of our colors and I'm dying to find some cute hair accessories to tie it all in.

If you know of any cute accessory stores, please pass along the info!

Inspired.

Last night Ben and I went over to see our good friends, Jackie and David. David wasn't able to make it to the dinner we had, so we went over there to officially ask him to be a part of our wedding. While I was over there, Jackie showed me the CUTEST hat she made! It was too adorable not to share.

She is SO good and has the cutest monkey hats too! She just started a blog-store and you should check it out for more fun and adorable goodies and buy one! I'm pretty sure she'd be happy to make these babies in your size too. ;)

Because of her adorable crocheting amazingness, I have decided to try a little harder and get better. So it's off to Joann's I go for some more yarn and MAYBE even a crochet pattern book...

Save the Date!

Our amazing and talented friend, Wendy, who works at our church (South Mountain Community Church) as our Creative Director has volunteered to help us with our save the dates and invitations. She is one of the best graphic designers and we are so thankful for her participation in our wedding. She did SUCH a good job that I had to post a picture of these babies. Look for yours in the mail and if you haven't given me your address yet, send it over to becomingtherobies@yahoo.com.

LOVE them! And for those of you who really know Ben and I, you will have to agree that this picture is as real as it gets with the two of us. :)
A BIG thanks for our friend, Liz Pham who took this photo while we were in New York for Christmas.
